CCSG/Cancer Center Support Grant

Translational Bioinformatics Cancer Center Support

Translational Bioinformatics is dedicated to advancing scientific understanding of life threatening disease, such as cancer, diabetes, immune disorders, and HIV, by establishing a transdisciplinary collaboration among COH high-throughput OMICs, imaging facilities, physicians, and graduate students to promote translational research in biomarker discovery and novel targeted-therapy development in support of interdisciplinary collaboration, training, and COH graduate school education.

Translational Bioinformatics is actively involved in NCI, NIH, NSF, NIDDK, and DOE joint grant applications and has been awarded NCI-designated CCSG status since 1997. TBI received the highest “exceptional merit” score in both 2012 and 2017 NCI grant-renewal years.
